FIBER CEMENT SIDING

FIBER CEMENT SIDING

Fiber cement siding is a building material used to cover the exterior of a building in both commercial and domestic applications. Fiber cement is a composite material made of sand, cement, and cellulose fibers. This material comes in many different colors and shades and closely resembles the look, texture, and grain of wood siding.

The most popular fiber cement siding on the market is James Hardie®. That is why fiber cement siding is also commonly referred to as “Hardie Siding”, “Hardie Plank”. Another popular brand is Allura®. I will talk about Allura products below.

With fifteen years of experience, we provide professional fiber cement siding installation services.

Beautiful Protection

Although fiber cement siding gives the beautiful appearance of wood siding, it is impenetrable to any kind of climate-related damage or injury.

Weather – No rot!
Due to its concrete fibers, Hardie plank is impervious to any external elements, such as rain, hail, wind, flying debris, and humidity. Not only will cement board siding not chip because of its strength, it does not retain moisture either; therefore it never rots or swells. This makes it one of the best choices for wet climate areas such as the British Columbia West Coast.

Pests – No termites!
This type of siding defends against most insects, such as termites, that can eat away at the wood siding.

Fire Prevention – Non-Combustible!
Because it is made of concrete fibers, Hardie board is fire-resistant, protecting your home from any exterior threat.
